In this course we discuss Reliability in the context of power system operations and
the evolving NERC and its primary responsibility for Reliability in North America.
This course is targeted at those preparing for the NERC
System Operator Certification exams, those power system operators who need NERC approved CEH's for re-certification and
those who need Emergency Operations hours in the performance of their job.
We
will present the NERC Reliability Standards in the context of power system fundamentals. This method improves
the understanding of the Standards and makes the power system fundamentals more relevant.
This training will utilize our OPS-X Power System simulation modules
I- V. These modules use power system simulation to drive home the fundamentals of power system operation.
The cost for the training is $1,350 for the thirty two hours.
The topics of Modules I-V are: AC Systems, EHV Operations,
Congestion Management, Power System Restoration and Transmission System Operations.
Please see the other pages on this web site for details on these
OPS-X Modules.
This Power System Reliability course carries 32 NERC CEH credits, 20
Standards hours, 25 Simulation hours and 32 Emergency Operations hours.
