2. NERC System Operator Certification Exam DVD Series-
This DVD series
was filmed during one of our 5 day, 40 hour NERC System Operator Exam preparation classroom sessions. It is a combination

The cost is $950 for the complete 7 disc series or $200 for each disc individually. A copy
of our latest text book, Electric Power System Reliability is included with the DVD's.
3. OPS-X
Module I concentrating on Load and Generation balance, ACE, AGC and Voltage Control
OPS-X Module I provides 6 computer
simulation based exercises featuring load and generation balancing, ACE, AGC, AVR operation and voltage control. These
exercises further enhance the fundamentals and standards presented in our text. Completion of the exercises will
broaden your understanding and dramatically increase your retention of the material. Cost is $195.
4. Advanced OPS-X exercises featuring contingency analysis, congestion management,
system restoration and system protection Powersmiths offers 4 other simulation modules (19 exercises) targeted
at contingency analysis, congestion management, system restoration and transmission system operation to again enhance
and broaden your understanding of the principles of power system operation and NERC standards. This is the most rigorous
training available and the most rewarding. OPS-X Module I is a pre-requisite. Additional cost is $249 per module.
5. 4 day Classroom instruction at your site (minimum 10 attendees).
This
is a four day classroom session taught from our text and enhanced with OPS-X exercises. This session is available
at your site. Cost is $1,350.
